What is BizWorld?

BizWorld is a simulation where students learn how they must set up their own company and lead. They get to issue shares, develop, produces and sell a product, profit and loss etc.

Who can take part in BizWorld?

BizWorld is especially intended for students in group eight in primary school. Moreover, the program can at a later stage be continued as well for students in secondary education.

Where is the BizWorld simulation played?

The BizWorld simulation is played in the first place in the classroom as a component of the program.

What does the BizWorld simulation cost?

There are no costs to join for schools. BizWorld is made possible by businesses.

Why would I participate in BizWorld?

Eight of the ten children in group eight seem to maybe want to have their own company later on. One out of four children would find it very nice to start their own company. BizWorld wants to keep the entrepreneur spirit alive in those students. The children in group eight want in a playful simulation, but in a realistic manner, to get acquainted with setting up their own company. Subjects such as calculations and language suddenly get meaning, as well as learning to work in a team. From the first reactions from schools where BizWorld has been played it becomes clear that the children find a peak in their last school year at primary school.

How much time does it cost to support BizWorld?

The simulation is preferably played over four days, over two weeks to a month. Before the simulation it is desirable that the teacher prepares for the simulation with the students and among other things goes through the vocabulary with the students. It should take a total of approximately 20 hours.
