Welcome to the world of BizWorld

The BizWorld programs is a supplementary curriculum that reinforces academics through real world hands-on activities. The BizWorld project is recommended for 8th grade elementary school, students 12 years of age. Bizworld teaches students business; to work in teams and to start and run their own small businesses in a simulated friendship bracelet industry. Taking on different leadership roles, students learn the basics of money management and entrepreneurship, as they apply for jobs, and design, manufacture, market and sell their products in the BizWorld marketplace.
BizWorld is financially made possible by so-called adoptive companies and is run by an entrepreneur in cooperation with the teacher.
Unique to this project is that every company can adopt one or more schools and can in this way characterize themselves as a social corporate responsible company.

Financial support for 50 elementary schools!

CentiQ, a coalition of 40 parties in the financiel sector, government, consumerorganisations and research are offering funds to maken the BizWorld project available to 50 elementary schools for this schoolyear. Schools are expected to arrange their own entrepreneur/trainer who will execute this project with the 8th grade teacher. You are however required to submit the pre- and post assesment results. The first 50 schools that sign up can participate!

Camp BizWorld

Are you as a company interested in Social Corporate Responsibility and binding relationships with you customers? Organise a Camp BizWorld within your own company and have a classroom do the BizWorld project within your company. Invite employees and customers to help these students build better companies.
